Dr. Laurie Cuttino - Radiation Oncologist and Cancer Specialist
An accomplished radiation oncologist, Dr. Laurie Cuttino has clinical experience in stereotactic radiation techniques, including SABR, stereotactic ablative radiotherapy, and SRS. Through this work, Dr. Laurie Cuttino treats patients with different types of malignancies, including brain, spine, liver, bone, and lung, with attention to cases involving oligometastatic disease.
Dr. Cuttino completed a bachelor of science in chemical engineering and physics from Clemson University and later earned a doctor of medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). She was also a resident in radiation oncology at VCU, where she served as chief resident. In addition, she completed a brachytherapy rotation at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and a brachytherapy fellowship at the Seattle Prostate Institute.
Dr. Laurie Cuttino has worked as an associate professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at VCU since 2010 and sees patients at Henrico Doctors' Hospital in Richmond. Her professional interests include Gamma Knife radiosurgery, stereotactic treatment planning, and radiation care for patients with complex cancer cases.
Dr. Cuttino has been listed in physician recognition guides such as Richmond Magazine's Top Doctors, Best Doctors in America, Virginia Living Magazine, and U.S. News and World Report. Outside clinical work, she has been active with the World Pediatric Project and Impact 100 Richmond.
